1. Amazon FBA

The best work from home jobs

What is Amazon FBA?

Amazon FBA stands for “Fulfilled By Amazon”.  Fulfilled by Amazon is exactly what it sounds like. You send your products to Amazon’s warehouses where they look after your inventory.  When a customer orders something it is handled 100% by Amazon.

How does Amazon FBA Work?

In simple terms, you as the seller find a discounted stock of products that you would like to sell through Amazon.  Most often this is done through large companies overseas or clearance sales. You list the product on Amazon, set the price for the product and have it shipped to Amazon to sell for a profit.  The idea behind this is you are setting up your own online store where Amazon takes care of all of the shipping and customer service needs.

FBA is one of the most advanced networks in the world.  With FBA you store your products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers and Amazon deals with the stocking, packing, shipping, and customer service. The great part is that the seller (YOU) simply provides the product and you avoid all of the nuances of customer service nightmares.

FBA is great because it has very low startup costs and significant flexibility.  People who are beginning will need a little bit of “seed” money to get started.  Successful business owners typically start with $500-$1000 in product stock to get the ball rolling.   If money is tight I know people who have started with less so don’t let capital stand in your way of this opportunity.

Jessica, from The Selling Family, is one of my favorite people when it comes to proving that you can make money and own a successful FBA business. She managed to make over $100,000 in her first year with her FBA business. Talk about impressive!

If you would like to learn more about what an FBA business is and how you can begin making money, you can read The Ultimate Beginners Guide To Getting Started On Amazon FBA.
