Diving Into The “Art” of Bullet Journaling

I’m far from being a creative person but I gave bujo’ing (bullet journaling) a shot and I absolutely love it. What I love most is using it for my finances. Using a bullet journal for my finances gives me a good overall picture of what is going on.

Financial planning with a bullet journal is a perfect way for people to budget their finances in a more “creative” style. It’s super fun and can help you to reach your goals and take control of your money

Bullet Journal Supplies

There are all sorts of bullet journals on the market these days. However, you really don’t have to spend a lot of money to get into it. You can easily get a bullet journal for beginners for as little as $5.

If you’re an advanced bullet journaler and want what all the pro bujo’ers are using check out the Leuchtturm1917 Hardcover Medium Dotted Journal. People absolutely love the Leuchtturm1917 because it includes a table of contents, numbered pages and comes in a beautiful array of colors.

I also recommend a good color pen set. I can’t say enough about the fineliner color pens, they’re super affordable and perfect for bullet journaling. I know bujo’ers also love using Stabilo pens. I think either of these options will get the task done.

You’ll also want to consider some colored pencils. Staedtler colored pencils are perfect for bullet journaling and they come in 48 different colors-they’re my favorite! Obviously you can even use some good old Crayola colored pencils too! You don’t have to spend a ton to get started with bullet journaling!

If you’re the kind of person who’s pretty particular about your work a ruler is a great tool to have in your bullet journal arsenal too!
